On the whole President addressing school children absurdity; this shouldn't be a story and yet somehow is, man I'd hate to think if we didn't have a liberal media... However, I have noticed that Afghanistan seems to be drifting back into the news more lately. I think there will be a significant political fight over this, one that may need to be postponed until after health care has passed. Otherwise, the Democratic Party may tear itself apart and both health care reform and our efforts in Afghanistan will be jeopardized (this is because the President will get minimal support from Republicans not from Maine regardless of what he does on either issue).
