Fox News recently took time away from promoting birtherism, criticizing the President and promoting the just plain stupid to take some pot shots at Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter. At a recent townhall, one of her constituents was escorted out by the police as he kept shouting down other constituents. Fox and Friends, operating on their well-established journalistic standards of rumor and batshit crazy, decided that this meant that the Congresswoman had ordered SEIU thugs to remove him from the building. Nope, it was the Manchester police acting on their own discretion. Even the Union Leader-normally my go-to standard for awful reporting- got this story right. Well played Fox, well played.
